I find this scripture interesting, and certainly relevant in my life. Matthew 13:22:
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
In this verse, Jesus is explaining the meaning of the parable of the sower to his disciples. He basically explains how so often in life, our focus and attention can be upon the wrong things. Things like hobbies, work, and even every day things. These things can choke the word of God from producing fruit in our lives if we are not careful.
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 13:23
Its certainly not wrong to play games, but I think for me they may be choking the word, or at least taking up valuable time I could be spending focused on the word. I want to give the word place in my life to produce fruit in my heart, thirty, sixty and one hundredfold.
